    About Phi Phi Islands

The Phi Phi Islands are one of Thailand’s most stunning destinations, famous for dramatic limestone cliffs, emerald lagoons, white-sand beaches, and bright turquoise water. Located between Phuket and Krabi, the islands offer incredible scenery, excellent snorkelling, and unforgettable lagoons.

Simba Sea Trips explores Phi Phi with early-morning departures, giving guests quieter conditions and a more relaxed experience before the busy day begins.

    Maya Bay

The world-famous Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh is known for its cliffs, soft sand, and crystal water. Swimming is not allowed, but Simba guests arrive early to enjoy the beach and scenery at its calmest.

    Pileh Lagoon

Just around the corner is Pileh Lagoon, a still, emerald-green basin surrounded by vertical limestone walls. When conditions allow, Simba guests can swim here in some of the clearest water in Thailand.

    Snorkelling Sites

Phi Phi offers excellent snorkelling at Phi Phi Don, Bida Nok, and nearby reefs. Common sightings include parrotfish, clownfish, butterflyfish, soft corals, and occasionally blacktip reef sharks. Simba Sea Trips chooses the best sites based on the daily conditions.

    Scenic Cruising

Cruising past Viking Cave, the cliffs of Phi Phi Leh, and the surrounding karst formations is a major part of the experience. Simba’s early timing means smoother water, better light, and fewer boats.

    Bamboo Island

On the Phi Phi Shark Tour, guests enjoy a picnic and swim at Bamboo Island, known for its bright turquoise shallows and quiet, white-sand beach.

    Why Simba?

Small groups, early starts, hand-picked snorkel spots, and quieter timing make Simba Sea Trips one of the best ways to experience the Phi Phi Islands.

    Best Time to Visit

The ideal time to explore the Phi Phi Islands is November to April, when the sea is calm, the skies are clear, and visibility is at its best for snorkelling and lagoon swimming.

These months offer the most reliable conditions for enjoying Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, and Phi Phi’s coral reefs.

    Getting There

The Phi Phi Islands are accessed by boat from Phuket, with Simba Sea Trips departing early to avoid crowds and ensure the smoothest water.

    Awesome day out

We had a fantastic day tour with excellent communication and friendly, professional staff. The trip was well-organised, with a light breakfast, fresh fruit and drinks, and a delicious Thai lunch on a remote island. Highlights included a unique cave tour, relaxing canoeing, photo stops at James Bond Island, refreshing swims, and time on a deserted beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with our small group of eight and highly recommend this company.

Horrible felt rushed paid alot for nothing

I was disappointed in this trip. I went last year and this tour was amazing. Moe was guide last year she was just fun and just full of life. This year I brought my mom thinking it would be the same. The prices went up from last year. The tour felt rushed, we didnt go to all the islands, the guides didnt take pictures of the families or friends, it was just not exciting at all. The mood just felt somber. They rush you when your eating lunch because your grab is there. Just the whole things was a mess and thr group was alot bigger this year. It was a waste of money.
