    About Phuket

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and the main gateway to the Andaman Sea. With golden beaches, vibrant culture, quiet east-coast waters, and easy access to nearby islands, it’s the perfect base for exploring the region. Simba Sea Trips departs from Phuket’s sheltered east coast, offering smooth routes and early, crowd-free departures.

Phuket East Coast – Calm Waters & Local Scenery

Simba tours begin on the calm east coast, where mangroves, fishing villages, and wide bay views create a peaceful start to the day.

Rang Yai Island – Relaxed Beach Stop

Just minutes from Phuket, Rang Yai is a quiet island with soft sand and clear water. Simba often ends the Phi Phi Sunrise Tour here for swimming and beach time.

Maiton Island – Clear Water & Reef Life

South of Phuket, Maiton Island offers bright turquoise water and gentle reefs. Private charters may stop here when conditions allow.

Koh Yao Region – Rural Coastlines

Near Phuket, the Koh Yao Islands offer long beaches, fishing villages, and quiet scenery. Some Simba routes include a beachfront lunch on Koh Yao Noi or Koh Yao Yai.

Why Explore Phuket with Simba Sea Trips

Simba shows a calmer side of Phuket — early starts, small groups, smooth crossings, and relaxed island stops — making it one of the best ways to experience the region’s natural beauty.

    Awesome day out

We had a fantastic day tour with excellent communication and friendly, professional staff. The trip was well-organised, with a light breakfast, fresh fruit and drinks, and a delicious Thai lunch on a remote island. Highlights included a unique cave tour, relaxing canoeing, photo stops at James Bond Island, refreshing swims, and time on a deserted beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with our small group of eight and highly recommend this company.

Horrible felt rushed paid alot for nothing

I was disappointed in this trip. I went last year and this tour was amazing. Moe was guide last year she was just fun and just full of life. This year I brought my mom thinking it would be the same. The prices went up from last year. The tour felt rushed, we didnt go to all the islands, the guides didnt take pictures of the families or friends, it was just not exciting at all. The mood just felt somber. They rush you when your eating lunch because your grab is there. Just the whole things was a mess and thr group was alot bigger this year. It was a waste of money.
