Suresh Ramanathan (Ph.D., New York University) is a leading figure in academia and presently heads IMI as the Chief Executive Officer, with leadership responsibility across its campuses in New Delhi, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar. Dr Mathew Profile: Dr. Mathew is a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi and has 18 years of corporate work experience in Indian and multinational companies such as HCL Ltd, MECON, Yonex, and Reebok, his last held corporate position being VP (Sales & Marketing) at an Indo-US joint venture of the Hero Group. In addition, he has 16 years academic teaching experience as a Professor in Marketing and 2 years as Principal and Head of the Institution at Great Lakes, Gurgaon.

Dr. Mathew’s core areas of corporate experience were in sales, product and brand management, vendor development, retail operations and marketing. In academics he teaches Marketing Management, Product and Brand Management, Sales & Distribution Management and Services Marketing to post graduate management students and working executives.
